William (Bill) Harrison passed away peacefully at Hospice Quinte on July 2, 2026 at age 78. Dear Father of Katie King-Harrison (Joe.) Proud Poppy to Emerson and Dawson who he loved immensely. Bill will always be remembered by Bonnie King, his dear friend and the mother of their daughter. Son of the late Osborne and Florence Harrison. Dear brother of John Harrison (Carol), Gail Lightowler, Charles Harrison (Jeannie), Kip Harrison (Cheryl) Sarah Kangas, Richard Harrison (LouAnne), Nancy Padfield, and Wayne Harrison (Nancy.) Predeceased by his two sisters Sandy Raycroft & Marion Morrison. Fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews and their families.
The family would like to acknowledge and sincerely thank the staff at Belleville General Hospital and Kingston General Hospital, as well as the in-home personal support workers, nurses, and other caregivers who provided care in the home prior to his stay at Hospice Quinte. We are especially grateful to the team at Hospice Quinte for the exceptional comfort, dignity, and compassionate care they provided during his final days.
A graveside service will be held at Glenwood Cemetery in Picton, Ontario on July 10, 2026 at 11am followed by a Celebration of Life at Elks Lodge Hall Picton, Ontario from 12-4pm. If desired, a memorial donation to Hospice Quinte would be appreciated by the family in Bill’s memory.
Bill’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
