Wayne Parks passed away peacefully, at the Belleville General Hospital with his family by his side on Tuesday, March 4, 2025. Loving husband of 47 years to Judy (Jackson), proud and adored father of Amy Parks. Beloved brother of Peggy (Sonny) Belch, Joan (Harold) Treverton, Marian (Lorne) Reid, Jim (Joan), Dorothy (Neil) Pace and Donna (Danny) Young as well as his in-laws Ken (Carolyn) Jackson, Marlene (Terry) Ruttan and Janice (Bruce) Snider. He will be lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephews many other relatives and friends. Predeceased by his parents Clarence Parks and Agnes (Markland) and brother Harold (Brenda).
Wayne worked for the City of Belleville for almost 30 years and retiring in 2010. He loved numerous motorcycles over the years and enjoyed his many adventurous trips with the guys before getting into various tractors. Wayne spent lots of quality time at the lake and around the campfire listening to music. Judy and him would often take off in the Rv and who knew where they ended up. He lived a full life of adventure, family, friends and a few laughs along the way.
Over the last 40 years, they lived at Westlake where he was always up for a drink with his many amazing friends and neighbours. When their daughter Amy was born in 1982, she made their lives feel more complete. Amy had him wrapped around her finger from the day she was born till the day he died. We are all going to miss you.
Cremation has taken place with Milestone Cremation Services, Napanee. A Celebration of Life for Wayne will take place at the Elks Lodge Hall in Picton on Saturday, May 3, 2025 from 1-4pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in Wayne's memory to the Leukemia or Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
