Vickie Goodberry

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Vickie Goodberry at the Lennox & Addington County General Hospital on Saturday, January 9, 2021. She leaves behind her loving husband of 16 wonderful years, Kevin Goodberry. Daughter of Larry Vanalstine (the late Evelyn) and grand-daughter of the late Jean Vanalstine. Proud mother of Becky Wood (Darcy), Gavyn, Kaleb and Travis Goodberry. Cherished "Nana" to her grandchildren Haylee, Emma, Myla, Ethan and Onyx. Vickie will be sadly missed by her sisters Karen Vanalstine (David) and Sharon Thompson (Stephen), as well as brother-in-law Doug Goodberry (Bev). Special "Aunt" of Cody (Jess), Megan, Chad, and Wyatt (Bailee). Her memories will always be treasured by her great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family and many friends.

Vickie spend many years employed with the Friendly Manor Nursing Home in Deseronto where her duties and qualifications have taken her from a Health Care Aide position, now known as a PSW to the role of Life Enrichment Aide with the Activation Department, House Keeping Duties, and last but not least, Administration Assistant. She enjoyed her many years caring for the elderly and will be deeply missed by the many residents and co-workers over the years. 

Cremation has taken place with Milestone Cremation Services, Napanee. The family will receive friends at Evangel Temple, 320 Bridge St. West Napanee, Ontario on Saturday, July 17, 2021 from 11:00am until the service at 1pm. Current restrictions of Covid-19 may limit attendance for the service. Friends desiring may contribute in her memory to CHEO.
