Tarquin "Tarq" Shaffer

October 15, 1946 - August 20, 2024

Tarq passed away peacefully, with his loving family by his side at the Kingston Health Sciences Centre on Tuesday, August 20, 2024. Loving companion and best friend of Beverley Vankoughnet and adored father of Andrea Tanner (Harry), Justin Gatto (Erica), Shasta Stokes (Steve) and Kass Williamson (Shaun). "Poppa Tarq" will always be cherished in the hearts of his grandchildren Isabella, Faith, Brianna, Henry, Aidan and Klaira. Tarq will be sadly missed by his brothers William Shaffer (Charlene) and Daniel J. Shaffer (the late Jeanne). Pre-deceased by his sister Elvera Taormina (Dan). He will be fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends. Cremation has taken place with Milestone Cremation Services, Napanee.

A Celebration of Life Gathering for Tarq will take place at Ellwood City Moose Club, PA on Saturday, November 16, 2024 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. Online memories and condolences can be shared with the family at www.milestonecremation.ca
