Stanley Lawson

It is with a deep sense of sadness and loss that the family announces the sudden passing of Stanley Alexander Lawson, born April 3, 1938 surrounded by immediate family at the Campbellford Memorial Hospital on August 7, 2024. Stanley leaves behind his beloved wife of 62 years Kathleen (Fowler) and his cherished sons Kenneth (Karen) and David. Proud poppa to Jessica, Cassandra,  Lindsay and Dakota. Also great grampa to Laela, Lily, Harper, Isla Rose, River, Jade, Hunter and Emma. He leaves behind his brother Lachlan (Sharon). He will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.  Predeceased by his parents Daniel and Jean Lawson (nee Anderson) as well as his brothers John (Helen) and Robert (Hazel).

His passions were a love of carving, carpentry, square dancing, all things western as well as country and blue grass music.

As per his wishes cremation has been entrusted with Milestone Cremation Services, Napanee. A Celebration of Stanley’s Life will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2024 from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm at the Canadian Legion in Warkworth (6 Norham Road, Warkworth, Ontario).

In lieu of flowers memorial donations made in Stanley’s memory to the Campbellford Memorial Hospital, Norwood St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church or your favourite charity would be appreciated by the family. Online condolences, photos and memories can be shared at www.milestonecremation.ca
