Shirley MacDonald (nee Currie) Peacefully, at the John M. Parrott Centre in Napanee on Saturday, March 20, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Lorne MacDonald. Dear mother of Deborah (Bill) Powers, Cheryl (Gary) Pritchett and Jerry (Penny) MacDonald. Cherished Nanny to her grandchildren Troy (Ashley), Stacey (Chris), Tye, Derek (Karen), Shawn (Melissa) and her great-grandchildren Makayla, Alecia, Travis, Marcus, Lucas, Bruce and Gavin. Shirley will be sadly missed and always remembered by her sister Sandra (Roger) Jones. Pre-deceased by her parents Clark & Geneva Currie and by her brothers Hector (Daphne), Roger (Valerie), Arthur (Jane) and Kenneth. Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Cremation has taken place with Milestone Cremation Services, Napanee. Friends desiring may contribute in her memory to the Alzheimer's Society with appreciation. We extend a sincere thank-you from our family to all staff at the John M. Parrot Centre for the exceptional care provided to our mom, sister & nanny during her stay. She always enjoyed and looked forward to participating in the many daily activities within the home and planting the outdoor gardens along with feeding the squirrels.
