Sherry Ribeiro

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sherry May Ribeiro, who left this world peacefully on August 9, 2025, at the age of 62, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Sherry was a devoted mother to her daughter Natasha Kinney (James) and a loving grandmother to Kassandra Baylis (Austin), Mikayla Fitzell, Ethan Callery, and Peyton Kinney. She was also blessed with two great-grandchildren, Nova Warren and Iris Moon, who brought her so much joy.

She will be deeply missed by her daughter, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, her loving partner Patrick Murphy, her brothers and sisters: Brenda Turkiewicz (Paul), Lorry Hamel (Terry), Joseph Lane (Cindy), Tammy Lane, and Norman Lane (Danna), and her many nieces and nephews.

Sherry is reunited in Heaven with her beloved son Leslie Baylis, her sister Irene MacRae, and her brother Garry Lane.

Those who knew Sherry will remember her strength, her compassion, and her unwavering love for her family. She touched the lives of many and leaves behind cherished memories that will be held close by all who knew her.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at the home of her daughter, 165 Casey Rd, Belleville, Ontario, beginning in the afternoon and continuing into the evening with a fire gathering. Friends and family are invited to join us in remembering and honouring Sherry’s life.
