Sheila (Henderson) Murray

Sheila Lynne Murray passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family, on June 30, 2024 after a brief, courageous battle with cancer. Born on May 30, 1947 in Toronto, Sheila lived a life filled with love and joy, surrounding herself with the people she loved the most.
 

Sheila held many roles and titles throughout her life: daughter, mom, sister, sister in law, grandma, great-grandma, friend, aunt, cousin. Regardless of the role, she always showed up excited, ready to fully participate in any and every experience that presented itself. She embodied compassion and respect, offering that gift to everyone who crossed her path.
 

Sheila was an avid puzzle completer, crocheting master, baked-goods connoisseur, and Blue Jay fan. She loved nothing more than her family, always planning the next gathering before the current one ended.

While our days will no longer be filled with the sound of her voice or the sight of her contagious smile, she will show up in seemingly unsuspecting ways, in moments when we least expect it, and fill our hearts with so much love as we remember the remarkable woman she was.
 

Sheila will now join her love, Earl, and cherished sister, Shirley, in eternal rest. And, she will continue to live on through her siblings, children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
