Shawn Joseph Vinkle

Shawn Joseph Vinkle passed away peacefully at home with family on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at the age of 60 years. Beloved husband of Janet Vinkle (Perry). Loving father of Cody and Shauna (Zack); all of Trenton. Ever remembered by his brother’s Jeffery Vinkle (Jennifer) of Trenton and Bradley Vinkle (Tanya) of Belleville.

Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Mary Ellen Vinkle (McCambridge). Loving son-in-law to Ella Perry and the late Ken Perry, all of Trenton.  Loved by many cousins, nieces, nephews and family. In keeping with Shawn’s wishes, cremation will take place. A Celebration of Life will be held in the Spring of 2026, details will be shared at a later date. If desired, Memorial Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choosing would be appreciated by the family. 

The family would like thank his medical team in Kingston for their support over the last couple of years, as well as Dr. Gartshore, Michelle, Greg (ParaMed) and all the health care providers for all of their support and guidance at home. They would also like to thank their family, friends, among many others for their love and support. 

Shawn will be remembered forever for his strength, resilience, sarcastic sense of humour and his love for his family. 

Those who touch our lives stay in our hearts forever. Not a day will go by that you are not loved and missed.
