Sandra (Lizotte) Boote

Sandra Boote (nee Lizotte), beloved wife of the late Dirk Boote, cherished mother of Pamela & Charlene, treasured Oma to Tennyson, Cassidy and Kennedy passed away unexpectedly at home, in her 78th year. Sandra loved music and singing. In her youth Sandra sang on the television program "Focus" on CFCL Timmins. Sandra enjoyed a career as a lab tech, before leaving the workforce to raise a family. Sandra was crafty and ran a home-based pottery business while being a stay-at-home mom. She enjoyed camping, fishing and spending time at her cottage on the Big Rideau. Sandra was huge animal lover and volunteered at various animal shelters. Sandra will be fondly remembered by her surviving siblings Ella, Lila, Gloria, Joe, Barbara and by her many nieces and nephews.

Celebration of Life will be held in Timmins, Ontario at the Covenant United Church on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at 10:00am with a reception and light lunch to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to your local animal shelter would be appreciated.
