Rita Youngs Obituary

On Saturday, May 28 2022, Rita Youngs of Napanee Ontario, aged 78 years, died peacefully at home surrounded by her family. 

Fondly remembered by husband and best friend of 59 years John Youngs of Napanee Ontario, Daughter Julia Kuhn, son in law Brian Kuhn and Grand daughter Mallory of Nanaimo BC and son John Youngs Jr of Trenton Ontario. She will be dearly missed by her sisters in law Jackie Street of Ajax, Shirley Pockocky of Oakville and Alta Street of New Brunswick.  

Predeceased by her mother Alice Helena Street (Stevenson), father George Street, brothers Hubert, Malcolm, Donald and James all of New Brunswick.

Rita was a loving mother, spent part of her life living in Europe. She loved to cook and crochet. Her friends from her early years will remember her as the Captain of the high school basketball team in Perth Andover, New Brunswick.

The family wishes to send a special thank you to Tina of Home Care, Jessica and Richard of CBI Nursing, Sheala of Paramed, the lovely and patient staff and the VON Day program, as well as Dr. Gonu and Dr. Gibson.

Cremation has been performed and there will be no visitation or service. In lieu of flowers donations made to the Alzhiemer's Society of Canada would be greatly appreciated by the family.
