Passed away peacefully in his sleep at the Lennox & Addington County General Hospital on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at the age of 92 with family by his side after a short but courageous battle with cancer. 

Ralph will be forever missed by his loving wife of 69 years and travelling buddy Lucille (Martin), of which they ventured together coast to coast of the USA in their van to escape our winters and to enjoy the warmer weather from Florida to California, and also along the way, visit many, many different Flea Markets and eat at Wendy's for 22 years. 

Cherished father of Jim Griffiths (Cindy) of Napanee, Louanne Griffiths (James Cole) of Scarborough and Scott Griffiths of Napanee. Beloved grandfather (Pops) of Brandon, Kaitlyn (fiancé Riley), Raymond and Lisa (Cody). 

Ralph will also be deeply missed by his extended family, friends and many former customers of his landscaping business that he started in 1960 till his retirement in 2022.

Predeceased by his parents Spencer and Edith Griffiths (Baldwin) as well as his infant brother Grant Sidney Griffiths, and also Uncle Kenneth Griffiths, who was more like an older brother and cherished friend of his.

Plus Skalla (Whoozy-bear, the world's worst dog), who never failed to let absolutely everyone know who was his and only his favourite.

Also a special thanks to the nurses who took care of Ralph, their excellent care and compassion made his final days much easier for both him and his family.

At the request of Ralph, there will be no funeral or wake, so in lieu of flowers and condolences, memorial donations made in Ralph’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, the Canadian Cancer Society and/or the MS Society of Canada would be greatly appreciated by the family.
