It is with extreme sadness, we announce the passing of Phil at the home he recently built for his family on Tues morning. Phil will be sadly missed by his wife and best friend Sandy, his amazing son Dalton, his father/Pa John (Maddy), sister Laura (Sean), Mother In Law/Mother Carolyn, brother in law Bryan (he was like a real brother to Phil), sister in law Susan (she was like a real sister), brother in law Jeff (Pam). A wonderful uncle to Ashley, Ryan, Cameron, Sabrina, Nick and Joshua. He will be missed by his many aunts uncles and cousins. His many, many friends also mourn his loss. Phil was an excellent carpenter and he was extremely good at it. It was not just his profession, but what he loved to do. He was always out building something or fixing something up. Not only at his home he built, but at other's as well. He prided himself in the items he built, be it a deck or rabbit house. He was an amazingly strong and loving husband and father. He loved us fiercely, as we loved him. Phil will be missed by all for his amazing humor and witty comments. In his younger days he was always the life of the party. At the family dinner table he had us in stitches always. Between he and Bryan it was hard not to spit your dinner out laughing. We thank him for all those times. Phil fought a 12yr battle with cardiomyopathy. He refused to just lie down, he carried on strongly until the day he died. He was never one to feel bad for himself and continued to love and care for everyone, always. We were so hopeful, he was just listed for a new heart on Sept 10/25. Phil loved and catered to Jess and Bumpy his dogs, Rory and Rip his cats (Grandsons/Grandcats). He made life the best it could be for all of them. The biggest George Jones fan ever, a lover of big black trucks, and a Dr. Pepper enjoyer. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Phil's life will take place when the family has determined a date. Memorial donations to the Back the Build for PECMHF would be appreciated by the family.
I thank you Phil for making my dream of living in West Lake partially true - the part that we be missing is You❤️.
