Paul Urquhart

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Paul Urquhart of Toronto; at his home in Trenton; on Tuesday, June 25th, 2024; aged 68. Growing up in the Beaches, on Jones Ave., and at times down East in Newfoundland having moved there with his parents and siblings as a kid, Paul made an impact on the lives of many people from all over. Paul eventually settled in Trenton, which is where he’s spent the last three and a half decades.

Whether you knew him for many years, or just met him, he would strike up conversations, offer up advice, or have a few jokes to tell. Paul was known for his beaming smile, boisterous voice and laughter, unwavering support for those in need, and his passion for life. His presence lit up every room he walked into, and his memory will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Paul was predeceased by his wife Lorraine, his parents Marion & Neil, siblings Everett, Les, Carl, & Florence, and his in-laws Norman & Mary Little. He is survived by and will be lovingly remembered and missed by his daughter Stephanie (Marty), siblings David and Delores (Danny), in-laws, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless other family, friends, and his church.

A service will be held at the Trenton Bethel Pentecostal Church @ 1pm on Saturday August the 17th, 2024. Located at 77 Herman St., Trenton, Ontario K8V 3C4.
A reception will follow after the service at the Lion's Hall located at 77 Campbell St, Trenton, ON K8V 3A2.

In lieu of flowers please feel free to donate to your local food bank in Paul’s honour.

Rest in peace, Lord Urquhart. Your light will continue to shine brightly in our hearts forever.
