Paul McQueen

There are some people who can’t help but take life apart just to see how it works. Who treat the world like something to be studied, tasted, debated, and occasionally disagreed with—just because.

That was Paul James McQueen.

After 46 years side by side, Paul leaves behind his wife and partner in life Jane, who shared in his love of country living, travel and music.

He was the proud Dad of Tasha (and her partner, Cole) and Tarley (and her partner, Lucius), and the endlessly adored Pop Pop of Frankie, Ronan, and Sully.

Paul loved dragons, guitars, good food, and feeding people in every sense of the word. He was patient with things that took time: gardens, ideas, and people. He questioned everything, not to argue, but to understand.

A little stubborn, deeply curious, and quietly full of wonder, Paul lived life his own way, finding beauty in the small, overlooked corners of the world and passing that gift on to all of us.
