Paul Benoit

It is with sadness that the family of Paul George Benoit announce his passing with dignity on October 16, 2023 in Newburgh Ontario. Paul passed away peacefully with his siblings by his side in his 70th year after a short bout from lung cancer. Pre deceased by his husbands Jean B Chretien and Timothy James Thomas, Mother Irene Lamarche (Crytes) and father Lucien Jules Benoit.

“I really tried to get rid of a hell of lot of stuff but with 5 sisters I'm sure they will manage to get rid of the rest.”

Paul will be remembered by his 5 siblings and their spouses, Michelle Clement (France), Therese Popowich Metzloft, Pauline Joly (Garson) Claire Gaudette (Skead) and Susan Saarikoski (Frankford), and his many nieces, nephews and great, step nieces, nephews and all extended family and friends. Cremation has taken place with Milestone Cremation Services, Napanee. A private family service will take place at St Johns Cemetery in Garson Ontario at a later date.
