Patricia Brown

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Patricia Eileen Brown on Sunday, February 1, 2026, at Belleville General Hospital.

Patricia was born on May 7, 1933, in Montreal, Quebec, the beloved daughter of the late John Murphy and Mary Clothier. She was predeceased by her devoted husband, Harold Brown, whom she met at the young age of 13 and married at 18. Their love story spanned more than 40 wonderful years of marriage and remains an inspiration to all who knew them.

Throughout her life, Patricia’s greatest joy and purpose was her family. She was a loving and devoted mother to the late Larry Brown (late Gail), Stephen Brown (Cathy), and Kevin Brown (Monica). She was a proud and cherished grandmother to Lenny (Robyn), Lori (Dan), Carrie, Megan, Andrew (Julia), and Emily, and a treasured great-grandmother to Mathew, Clara, Landon, Dawson, Annabelle, and Loretta, as well as great-great-grandson, Waylon.

Patricia never stopped loving or caring for those around her. Her kindness, compassion, and unwavering support touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be remembered with the deepest love and respect as a very special mother and grandmother.

We are forever grateful for the love Harold and Patricia shared and for the foundation they gave our family. Our lives are richer and better for having had Patricia in them.
