Nora "Emily" (Wood) Hughes

It is with heartfelt sadness that the family of Nora Emily Hughes announce her peaceful passing at Napanee Hospital on December 4, 2025, with her family by her side. Emily entered into rest in her 80th year.

Emily will be lovingly remembered by her husband George, and her daughter Crystal (Ray) of Picton. She will be sadly missed by her granddaughters Raelyn (Julia) of Thunder Bay and Kate (Deke) of Picton  and her cherished great-grandson Declan. She is also survived by her sister Linda (Alan) of Napanee;

Predeceased by her beloved son Mark, her parents Lillie and Walter Wood and her brother Dwayne Wood.

Emily will be deeply missed by her many nieces and nephews, and by all who knew and loved her.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer Society. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.

The family extends their sincere thanks to the staff of Napanee Hospital for their care and compassion.
