Michelle "Shelley" (Cole) Ferguson

Passed away peacefully at home with her husband by her side. Shelley will be forever missed by her devoted husband Robert (Bob) of 55 years. Cherished mother of Patrick (Lisa) and Brenda (Jon). Beloved sister of Margaret Bongard, Helen Cole, and Carol Robson. Proud grandmother of Zackary Ploughman (Jessica), Rhianon Simpson (Patrick), Angus Ferguson, Keagan Ferguson, Ayden Ferguson, and Isobella Ferguson and great-grandmother of Piper and Brady Ploughman. She will be lovingly rememberd by her more than 25 nieces and nephews. Shelley was predeceased by her parents Michael Cole and Florence Cole (nee Lambert),  and siblings Mary Lloyst, Grace Williams, John Cole, and Patrick Cole.

Shelley worked for over 20 years at Friendly Manor Nursing Home and 17 years at the Quinte Secondary School board. Over her lifetime Shelley was a friend to many and was always there to help anyone and everyone. She was one of the most selfless people of her time.  Special acknowledgement to all the health care staff that supported her, Marlene Crawford, and long time friend Helen Lloyd who was with Shelley daily over the past several years during her battle with ALS.

There will be no visitation or funeral. A Celebration of Life BBQ will be held at their home in August. In lieu of flowers memorial donations made to the ALS society would be appreciated. Online condolences, photos and memories can be shared at www.milestonecremation.ca.
