Mary Ellen Lucas

It is with heavy hearts we announce that on Friday November 3 2023, Mary Ellen passed at Hospice Quinte. Predeceased by her parents Mary and Herman Lucas, her brother Danny Lucas and sister Janice McLaren. She leaves behind her sisters Judy Jones (Late Bob), Karen Hayes (Calvin), and her brother Herman (Sunday), sister-in-law Darlene Lucas (Late Danny), and brother-in-law Glen McLaren (Late Janice). She will be greatly missed by her nieces and nephews, Kim WhaleyHilts, Christine Stewart, BobbiAnne Jones, Scott Hayes, JamieLynn Hayes, Jack McLaren, Adam McLaren, and Joshua Lucas and families. And many great and great-great nieces and nephews. Fondly remembered by many friends and extended family. As per Mary Ellen's request cremation has taken place, a private family gathering will take place and she shall be laid to rest in Belleville Cemetery. Any donations can be made to Belleville General Hospital Cancer Clinic, the Lupus Foundation, Hospice Quinte or any Charity of your Choice would be appreciated.
