Mary Louise Driver, a beloved mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, entered into the arms of Jesus on July 13th, 2025 at the age of 70. While our hearts are heavy with grief, we rejoice in knowing she is finally home-wrapped in the eternal peace and joy of her Savior.
Born on January 17th, 1955, Mary lived a life marked by love, grace, and unwavering faith. Her radiant spirit and kind heart touched everyone she met. Whether through her encouraging words, acts of service, or quiet prayers, she lived as a reflection of Christ's love.
She was passionate about baking, teaching, and always listening to those in need, and she poured herself into her family and friends. Her faith was not just something she believed-it was something she lived, boldly and beautifully.
As Scripture reminds us in 2.Corinthians 5:8, "To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord." While we mourn her absence on this earth, we find comfort in knowing she is now in the presence of Jesus-free from pain, and filled with eternal joy.
She leaves behind her son Chris Driver (Sabrina) and daughter Jocelyn Mason (Jamie), grandsons Zach, Cayden, and Jett, pre-deceased by her parents Eldon and Hazel Lasher, survived by her brother Lorne Lasher (Pauline), many nieces, nephews, and countless others whose lives she blessed with her presence. Her legacy is one of faith, compassion, and steadfast love.
A celebration of Mary's life and faith will be held on Monday July, 21st at Mohawk Pentecostal Church at 1pm. All are welcome to come and rejoice in the assurance that her story continues in the glorious presence of our Lord.
