It is with great sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Marv Stacey at the John Parrott Centre in Napanee, Ontario. Dear son of the late Francis and Loretta Stacey. Predeceased by his beloved wife of 63 years, the late Sandra Stacey (nee Reynolds). It gives the family great comfort to know Marv and Sandy are reunited and will be together forever. Loving father to David (Deborah), Linda Hayes, Patti Layfield (Brian), and Sara. Adored Poppa to Tyler Stacey, Craig Layfield (Sara Fobear), Matthew Stacey (Rebecca), Breanne Bradshaw (Evan), Jennifer O’Neil (Cody), Kayla VanderWey (Luutzen), Mark Hayes (Maggie Hicks) and Jordan Michaud. Cherished Great Poppa to Hannah, Nathaniel, Gabriella, Sawyer, Lauralyn, Nicholas, Quinn, Kennedy, Emelen, Gwyneth, Cale Luke, Lyla and Hallie. Remembered with love by his siblings, the late Margeurite Hamilton, Keith (Nina) Stacey, Doris (Ross) Armstrong, and Carl (Joan) Stacey. Dearly missed by his brothers and sisters in-law, many nieces, nephews and cousins. Cremation has taken place. Celebration in Marv’s memory will take place at a later date followed by a private family interment at Glenwood Cemetery. Memorial donations in Marv’s memory can be made to the Picton Memorial Hospital or to the Lennox and Addington County General Hospital.
