Marlene Louise Szymanski Nee Nelson, Date of Death October 21st. 2021

After a wonderful family gathering at Betlyn Cottage to celebrate her 86th birthday and a month long visit with her daughter Elizabeth Taylor, our beloved Marlene Louise Szymanski passed away at Lennox and Addington Hospital in Napanee, ON.  She was the oldest of a blended family with twelve children.

She was a woman who loved her independence and always kept busy making gifts for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She loved to share stories of their world and accomplishments.

Marlene Louise was pre deceased by her beloved daughter Julie Anderson, wife of John (twenty five years ago to the day).  Also pre deceased by grandson Zackary Anderson, grandson Jacob Szymanski, husband Robert Szymanski, brother David Nelson, sister Mary Madden, brother in-law Jack Madden and brother Henry Nelson. 

Marlene Louise was survived by sons Robert Szymanski and John Szymanski and daughter Elizabeth Taylor (Bill).  Also survived by grandchildren: David Szymanski ( Kristy), Mary Jane Lewis, Michael Szymanski (Lilly), Mandy Szymanski (Kyle Kuether), Katie Szymanski, Terry Squires (Tewsley), Erik Anderson (Sunny), Billy Taylor and Andrew Taylor.

She was blessed with many great-grandchildren: Zoey Squires-Colella, Terris Squires, Johnathan Vasquez, Penelope Szymanski, Lucas Szymanski, Josie Kuether and River Kuykendall.

Marlene Louise also has three soon to be great-grandchildren on the way.

She was a beautiful woman, lived her life with style, she was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
