Marlene Elliott

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Marlene "Mar" Elliott at the L&A County General Hospital on December 18, 2023 at the age of 82. Marlene was the loving wife and best friend of Rick Gerow, cherished mother and step-mother of Wendy, Gord and Jennifer (Derek). Loved grandmother and step-grandmother of Amanda (Rob), Jesse (Caitlin), Emma, Carter, Keaton and Cooper and great-grandmother of Abby and Olivia. Marlene will be greatly missed by her sisters Joyce and Doreen, sister-in-laws Melody (Larry) and Janean, many nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by parents William and Violet, brothers Bill and Ken and sister Jean.  Marlene enjoyed swimming, painting and cooking but her favourite pastime was golfing. Marlene's big heart and great sense of humour touched many and will leave a lasting imprint on those who were fortunate to know her. Cremation has taken place and a private interment followed by a public Celebration of Life will be held Spring 2024. In Marlene's memory, donations to the L&A County General Hospital or the Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
