Mark Grieve Obituary

After a lengthy and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer, Mark Douglas Grieve, in his 65th year, passed away surrounded by loved ones at Hospice Quinte. Mark was a kind and caring man who always put his family first. Mark was a devoted husband to wife Julie and supportive father and step father to Amanda (Rob), Jenn (Brad) Chantelle (Chris.) He was a special Brother to Jennifer (Edward),  and caring son in law to Helen (late husband Arnold). He was a thoughtful brother in law to Richard (late wife Leah) and Roland. A  loving Uncle to Andrew (April) Eric, Katrina, Melissa, Kyle, R.J and great Uncle to Chase. He was a doting Pappy to Kaelan, Aubrey, Oliver and Amelia. Mark was predeceased by loved parents William and Barbara.

Mark will be remembered for his love of the Toronto Blue Jays, the game of golf and his willingness to help anyone at any time of day or night. His calm and gentle nature will be missed by many and remembered and celebrated at a private service at his request.

We extend our deepest gratitude to Dr. Raymond Jang, Nurse Glenda and the GI clinic staff at PMH,  Dr.Gartshore and the wonderful staff at Paramed and Hospice Quinte. Memorial Donations can be made to Canadian Cancer Society (https://cancer.ca/en) and Hospice Quinte (hospicequinte.ca)
