Marilyn "Lyn" Kerr

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marilyn “Lyn” Kerr, an incredible woman whose strength, kindness and love touched everyone she met.  Lyn peacefully entered the arms of the Lord on October 27, 2025 after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 72. Her love had no bounds—she was “MOM” to many, touching the lives of friends, her children’s friends, and all who knew her.

She leaves behind her devoted husband Dave Kerr; her cherished children, Tony (Christina), Nathan, Kate (Doug), and step sons DJ (Sheryl), Bryon (Jen). She was the loving Grandma of Chase, Maddy, Alex (Cam), Grace (Cody), Ben, Jacob, Lexi (Owen), Martin, Hunter, Sophie and proud Great Grandma of Blake and Logan. She also leaves behind her dear sisters Sue (Dennis), Jackie, Barb (Bob); brother Dave, and many in- law siblings. Lyn was predeceased by her son Jeremy Brant; her daughter Beth Peacock; and her grandson Jacob Kerr. 

Lyn’s life was a testament to her unwavering faith, her deep love for her family, and her generous spirit. She found joy in nurturing those around her, guiding her children and grandchildren with wisdom, grace, and kindness. A faithful servant of God, Lyn’s warmth, laughter, and devotion will be remembered by all who were blessed to know her.

Her faith in the Lord was her guiding light, and she is now resting in His everlasting arms.

A celebration of life will be held at Calvary Church, Belleville, on November 8th from 11am-2pm.
