Marilyn Jean Essam

It is with heavy hearts that we announced the passing of Marilyn Jean Essam on March 20th, 2025, in her 93rd year. She passed away peacefully in her sleep at the John M. Parrott Centre. Daughter of the late Cecil and Pauline Smith and sister of the late Betty Baumken (late Norm). She will be deeply missed by her children, Patricia Read of Toronto, and Steven Taylor (Mary-Ellen) of Bath. Cherished grandmother of Trish (Randy) and Gord (Brandi). Loving great-grandmother of Gracie, Taryn and Tucker. She will be lovingly remembered by her extended family and friends. Our deepest gratitude to the staff of the Parrott Center for years of amazing care our mother received. You all truly made a difference with the care and compassion that she received.
