Lynda (McGregor) Dart

Passed away peacefully at home January 26, 2025, at the age of 77 from complications of COPD.

Lynda was born to the McGregor family in Oshawa, Ontario and worked at GM most of her career as a secretary (She could relate to the Dolly Parton movie 9-5).

After retiring young, she served as a palliative care and hospice volunteer. She also worked as a support worker in the homes of many friends and family.

She loved hosting dinner parties and had a knack for decorating. There are a few chosen people lucky enough to cherish one of her hand stitched quilts.

Missed by family and friends and her beloved dog Riley.

A celebration of life will be held this April. No Funeral as per her request. She did insist on using the “Lynda approved” photo (before the gray hair!).
