Leo "George" Dafoe

Passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the Lennox and Addington County General Hospital on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at the age of 83. George will be deeply missed by his devoted wife Maizie (nee Lloyd) of 55 years. Cherished father of Andrew Dafoe (Tammie) of Edmonton and Rod Dafoe (Cathy) of Newburgh. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Joshua, Jack, Ella, Molly and Carlee. Beloved brother of John Dafoe (Mary) of Stoney Plain, Alberta, Marg Stevenson (William) of Wolfe Island, Sharon McMullen (late Vince) of Napanee and sister-in-law Barbara Dafoe of Stoco. George will be lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends, as well as his best fur buddy Rocky. Predeceased by his parents George and Sadie Dafoe (nee Beckwith), as well as his brothers Allan and Neil Dafoe. Interment in Newburgh Cemetery will be held at a later date.
