In Loving Memory of Lawrene (Lawrie) Elizabeth Vandertogt

Lawrie (Fisher) Vandertogt, passed away peacefully at Stan Klemencic Hospice Quinte on February 9, 2024, at the age of 77. She was born in Grimsby, Ontario, to the late Ted and Elizabeth Fisher.

Lawrie was a devoted wife to her late husband Marinus for 50 years. Survived by her loving children, Kim (Mike) and Jef (Nicole). Grandchildren, Kyle, Maddie, Cathleen and Curtis. Great grandchildren, Ellis and Damien. Survived by brother, Adam, sister-in-law, Marita, and predeceased by brother-in-law, Peter (Bonny). Loving aunt to Thomasine (Brian) and Peter (Teresa). She will be loved and warmly remembered by best friend, Diane, her daughters, Christy and Jenna and their families. 

She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her infectious laughter, and her unwavering love for her family and friends. She leaves behind a legacy of loyalty, kindness and generosity that will continue to inspire all who knew her. Lawrie will be dearly missed and forever remembered in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her. 

A special thank you from her family for the extraordinary care and compassion she received from the staff at Stan Klemencic Hospice Quinte. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Hospice Quinte or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
