Nov. 7, 1935 – Sept. 18, 2021

Passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the Lennox and Addington County General Hospital on September 18, 2021 at the age of 85.

Larry will be deeply missed by his devoted wife Shirley (nee Lamb). Cherished father of Donna Benn (Paul). He will be deeply missed by his grandchildren Michael (Emily), Jason (Erin), Britt (Lori) and Evan (Maddie) as well as his great-grandchildren Nathan, Bella, Luke, Gavin and Olivia. Beloved brother-in-law of Doug Payne, Pat Spurrell, Doloras Wheeler (Peter). Larry will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.

Predeceased by his parents Keitha (nee Lewis) and Sam Lamont, sister Milla Martin, as well as brothers and sisters-in-law Roy Martin, Marg Payne, and Joe Spurrell

The family would like to thank the CVC staff of the LACGH for all of the incredible care given to Larry during his time in the hospital. The family would also like to thank everyone who has reached out to them during this very difficult time.

Cremation has been entrusted to Milestone Cremation Service, Napanee. A private graveside service will be held in River View Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations made to the Lennox & Addington County General Hospital Foundation – Convalescent Care in Larry’s memory would be appreciated by the family.
