Kenneth Shangraw Obituary

Kenneth Laverne Shangraw

Sept 20, 1926 to May 25, 2026

We are sad to announce that our Father, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather and Great-Great-Grandfather has passed away at Helen Henderson Care Centre. He will be dearly missed by his daughter and best friend Linda McQuay (LaVerne) of Moscow. Father of Judy Sauve (Cam) of Eganville, and Joe Shangraw (Kim) of Havelock. Poppa to Derek McQuay (Ronda), and their children Marion, Honour and Eirnan; to Krista McKenzie (Paul) and their children Ian, Rachel and Faith; to Michele Otterman (Andrew) and their children Sydney and Mason; to Paul Sauve (Diane) and their children Alexa, Cameron and Daniel, and Ken's G G Grandson Jace; to Dan Shangraw (Jeanette) and their children Evelyn and Zachary; to Stephanie Shangraw. Will be remembered by many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his loving wife Evelyn (Johnson), his beloved children Donald and Paula Wood and by his sister Nadine Silver. He was the son of John and Annie Mary Shangraw.

Ken enjoyed life on the farm and loved his animals. He ALWAYS had at least one horse and had many stories about his horse escapades going back to his childhood. Many people will recall buying a horse from him and the trail rides. His love of his sheep, over the years, brought him many hours of pleasure. His farming is finished. Happy Trails. A family farewell will be arranged at a later date. Online memories and condolences can be shared with the family at www.milestonecremation.ca
