Karen Kerr

It is with sadness that our family announces the passing of Karen Jean Kerr who departed peacefully April 21, 2023, with her devoted husband Mike by her side.

Karen, cherished daughter of Rod and Ruth McLeod (predeceased); loving mother of Mandy, Scott, Julie, Jason, and their partners; devoted Nana to Logan, Tyler, Madeline, Madison, Clara, and Aubrey; oldest sister to Sandra, Rae, Rory, and their partners; beloved Aunt and loyal friend, she leaves behind a legacy of love that will be forever treasured.

An avid and gifted quilter, Karen used her talents to mark the milestones and celebrations of the loved ones in her life. Her beautiful, handcrafted creations rest on the couches and beds of many. A long-lasting reminder of Karen’s joyful spirit.

Over the course of their 23-year marriage, Mike and Karen loved to travel. Whether touring through North America in their 5th wheel or cruising the globe, they experienced the many wonders of the world together.

Love personified, with hugs that could be felt long after they were given, Karen was a caring and compassionate listener to anyone who needed her. Her beautiful smile, thoughtful kindness, and positivity, lives on in the hearts of every person who was fortunate enough to meet her.

Although she will be missed, she is now at rest, reunited with her parents in heaven.
