Judith "Judy" White

It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that we share the passing of Judy White on Friday, August 30, 2024, at the age of 67, at the Kingston Health Sciences Centre (KHSC). Judy was surrounded by her loving family during her final moments.  She leaves behind her beloved companion and best friend Barry Remington of over 34 years. 

Judy was a kind, beautiful and gentle soul whose warmth and infectious laughter brought joy to everyone around her. Her ability to share love was an integral part of her life, making her the glue that held our family together. Her absence leaves a void that will be deeply felt by all who knew her.

Predeceased by her parents Chesley (Ches) and Sarah (Sadie) White. A cherished sister to Barb of NS, the late Randy (Regina) of NL, Carolyn (the late Don) of NL, and Rob (Carol) of NL. She was also a dear sister-in-law to Brian (Sue), Larry (Lu Ann), Trina (Brian), and Margo (Rob) all of ON. 

She was a treasured Aunt to Cathy (Charles), Lisa (Craig), Chris, Leticia (Joel), the late Jeff, Heather, Lisa (Jamie), the late Brent, Ryan (Jenn), Lee Ann (Josh), Andrea (Drew), Chad, Shaun (Kristie), Brent (Amelia), the late Brandon, Morgan (Alex), Remington (Heather), and Josh (Alison). 

Judy will also be fondly remembered by her many great nieces and nephews: Zach (Stella); Morgan & Josh (Michalea); Tristan, Anthony & James; Bianca & Maxime; Gavin; Riley, Sloane & Sutton; Parker, Tanner & Dylann; Bryson; Isaiah, Azariah, Jubilee & DeNova; Deider & Thessaly; Lane & Mack; Josephine; Ila & Remi; Eli; and Mila & Mason.

Also, special mention to extended families: Carmel & Glen Saunders of NL; Ellen & Charlie Benton of ON; and ‘The Kash Crowd’.

Special thanks go out to the Oncology Cancer Care Teams, ER Staff, and Nursing Staff at Kingston Health Sciences Centre, for their compassionate care during Judy’s brief and challenging battle with cancer. We are also deeply grateful to our wonderful family and friends for their unwavering love and support.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Milestone Cremation Services. We will be celebrating Judy’s life in Napanee, ON, on Monday, September 23, 2024, at the Napanee Golf and Country Club, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., and in St. John’s, NL, on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at Sláinte (115 Duckworth Street) from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
