Judith "Judy" LaBarge

Judith Ann (Judy) LaBarge (51) of Belleville passed away peacefully at home on January 16, 2025 following a fierce battle with cancer. She passed away in the presence of her loving son Timothy (Tim) and wife Lacey (Asselstine) and her devoted sister Christina.

Judy remained in her home as she requested since her diagnosis earlier in 2024. Judy was a strong woman whose life was full of ups and downs but she remained positive throughout and had a great sense of humour. She was a tremendous role model that it is okay to roll with the punches and never let life change who you are.

Judy was born April 12,1973 and was the youngest child of Leon and Catherine (LaVallee) LaBarge of Belleville. Judy will be greatly missed by her brother David (Katherine), her brother Michael and her sister Christina.

Judy was Nana Jude to five beautiful grandchildren: Dominic, Izaac, Blakely, Rhett and Quinlyn.

Judy was predeceased by her grandparents Benedict and Evelyn LaVallée and Bernard and Verona LaBarge. Judy was also predeceased by her aunt Rose Maria (Gerald) Manning. Judy will be sadly missed by her aunt Marlene (Eric) Reid, her uncle Ron (Catherine) LaVallee, her aunt Karen LaVallee, her aunt Louise LaVallee and her uncle Paul LaVallee. Judy will also be missed by her many nieces and nephews. At Judy’s request there will be no visitation. A celebration of life will take place at a later date
