John "Christopher" Ramshaw

In his 82nd year, John Christopher Ramshaw passed away on December 31, 2025, after a brief illness, knowing he was deeply loved by his family and friends.

Chris was the beloved husband of Anne Angel (Wilson) and was predeceased by his first wife, Eleanor (Hornby). Loving father to Sara, Heather (Gary Thompson), and Christine (Geoff Perry).

Son of Henry Christopher Ramshaw and Jean Frances Ramshaw (nee Coulson), Chris was a devoted brother to Ferne and was predeceased by his brothers Tom (Brenda) and Phil (Sheila).

Chris’s greatest joys were his family, his love of the outdoors, and his passion for sports—especially curling. He was happiest at his favorite place, the cottage on Mazinaw Lake, where he had just celebrated Christmas surrounded by loved ones. A proud member of the Napanee & District Curling Club, Chris will be remembered for his sportsmanship, friendship, and dedication to the curling community.

Fondly remembered by his sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, and countless friends.
