John McEwen

Passed away peacefully at the Lennox & Addington County General Hospital on Saturday, June 15, 2024 at the age of 81. John will be forever missed by his devoted wife Ruth (Beckham) of 48 years. Cherished father of John McEwen (Tina) of Belleville. He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Chasity, Lyla and Evan. Beloved brother Bill McEwen (Barb) of Napanee. He will be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews Geoff McEwen, Connie McEwen, Amy McEwen and Gabe Medford as well as his very good friend Chuck Chard (Gary). Predeceased by his parents Robert John and Mary Eileen McEwen (Chambers). The family wish to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Tom Touzel and his staff for the extraordinary care and compassion shown toward John from the time he became his Doctor in the 1980’s and even up to his final days. Cremation has been entrusted to Milestone Cremation Service. Memorial donations made to the War Amps would be appreciated by the family.
