Janette Fay Irene Brooks (McEwen)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Janette on Sunday, October 26, 2025, surrounded by all of her loved ones. She leaves behind her loving and devoted husband of 52 years Ivan Brooks. Janette also leaves behind her children Danielle, Anthony, Justin and Ashley whom she loved more than words could express. Janette leaves behind her loving sisters Laura, Dorothy, Nancy, Wendy and Lisa. She is pre-deceased by her sister Barbara and her two brothers Kenny and Calvin.

One of Janette's greatest joys was her grandchildren Bree-Anna, Rosemarie, Blaine, Oliver, Bentley, Sadie, Titanya and Natalie. Janette was also blessed with her littlest loves Annaliese, Melody and David. Her love will be remembered and missed by her nieces Tina, Debbie, Ciji, Hunter, Sharrese, Krystal-Ann and Tammy, as well by her nephews Jeremy, Terry, Mitchell, AJ, Adam and Ryan. Pre-deceased by Archie.

Janette was a woman filled with so much love to give. She also had other passions and hobbies whether it be reading a good book or watching a movie and chatting with others, especially her good friends Pat and Val. Jeanette's love, laughter and joy will be dearly missed.

Cremation has taken place with Milestone Cremation Services. A Celebration of Life will take place at the Thomasburg Community Hall on Friday, October 31, 2025 from 11am to 3pm.
