James Havimaki

With great sadness, we announce the passing of James "Jimmy" Havimaki on Sunday, February 25, 2024 at Pleasant Meadow Manor in Norwood in his 93rd year. Beloved husband of Gloria (nee Haapa) of 70 years. Cherished father of Ron (Debbie) and Rick (Sandra). Proud grandfather of Kyle Havimaki and Danielle Havimaki (Tanner Olenik). Step grandfather of Brad Wilson (Lauren), Kelly Cooney (Coleton) and step great grandfather of Chance, Corbin, Braylee, Lyla and Morgan.

Jimmy was an avid sports fan and well respected hockey coach in the MTHL. After retiring from the TTC, Jimmy and Gloria moved to Warkworth from Willowdale where they lived life to the fullest. Cremation has taken place.
