Jacquetta Agnes Tallen Beattie, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on April 10, 2025, at the age of 72, surrounded by her loving family and friends. Born on March 19, 1953, Jacquetta lived a life filled with love, kindness, and creativity, leaving behind a legacy that will forever be cherished by those who knew her.

Jacquetta was the loving wife of, and survived by, Charles Archibald Beattie and a devoted mother to Chad (Ashley), Michael (Stacy), and Marsha (Ken). She was a proud grandmother of 11 grandchildren and a great-grandmother of 3, all of whom brought immense joy to her life. Her family was the center of her world, and she nurtured and supported them with unwavering love.

A woman of many talents, Jacquetta had a deep passion for painting, crocheting and gardening, activities that allowed her to express her creativity and share her warmth with others. Her work reflected her vibrant spirit, and her creations will continue to be treasured by those who received them.

She was predeceased by her parents, Lionel and Anita Tallen, as well as her sisters Valerie (late Neil), Chris (Kathy) and Nicki (Harry). She is survived by her sisters Denise (late Bruce), Theresa (John), and Sherry (David), and her many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Jacquetta’s love for family and friends was her greatest gift, and she will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and the joy she brought to every room she entered. She will be deeply missed, but her memory will forever live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in her memory or the Lennox & Addington Hospital.
