Harley Stratford Obituary

Harley E. Stratford (Ted) died suddenly on Wednesday, Dec 16th, 2020 at the Lennox and Addington County Hospital in Napanee. Ted was born in Schumacker in Northern Ontario on January 7th, 1945. He graduated from St. Lawrence College with a Municipal Administration Degree. Ted worked in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Smithville, Red Lake, and Kingston in a variety of roles. He enjoyed his retirement in Napanee where he was an avid gardener and bird watcher. He is survived by his sister Janet (Stratford) MacDonald and her five children and eight grandchildren, and Holly (Fournier) Moore and her two children. Predeceased by sister, Margaret (Stratford) Fournier and his parents Harley “Strat” and Gwendolyn Stratford. There will be a private ceremony with family only when possible. Donations to the Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto or the Canadian Cancer Society.
