Gwendolyn (Brady) Kimmett

The family of Gwendolyn Josephine Nora Kimmett nee Brady, 91, of Napanee, sadly announces her passing on Monday, November 14, 2022, at John M. Parrot Centre. Gwen was born on March 7, 1931, She was in her 92nd year. Gwen is predeceased by her devoted husband of 43 years, Jim, in 1999, and her son Kevin (Lorelei) in 2016. She is survived by her children; Deborah, Karen (Don McGaughey), Vernon (Vicky), Angela (Rob Jardine) and Paul (Mary Lynn). Gwen leaves behind 14 beloved grandchildren: Brendan, Laurel, David, Elizabeth, Jessica, Danielle, Nathan, Kaylee, Benjamin, Mercedes, Jackson, Anna, Emma & Maggie. Gwen was the 5th child of Michael Brady & Mary McGrath. She is survived by her siblings Colleen Mahoney, Beverly McNeill, Dan Brady and Dustin Brady, as well as her extended family: Carol Kimmett (Gerry), Judy McCullough (Jim), Tom Kimmett (Susan), Sally & Ken Rhyndress, Jean Brady (Francis) & Mary Brady (Peter).

The family expresses heartfelt appreciation to the John M. Parrott Centre staff for their care these past two years.

The family will receive friends at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church Hall on the evening of Wednesday, November 16, 2022, from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church on Thursday, November 17 at 11:00 am. Interment to follow St. Patrick’s Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Patrick’s Catholic Church or The Alzheimer's Society.
