Gordon Skinkle

After a lengthy illness, Gordon Skinkle passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at Campbellford Memorial Hospital with his loving wife and son by his side.

Gordon was the beloved son of the late Gerald and Stella Skinkle. He was a dear brother to Kathleen Lawson, John Skinkle, Cindy Petzold and the late Leona Sampson. 

Gordon was the devoted husband of Vicky for 47 years. He was a loving father to the late Deborah Skinkle and to James Skinkle, and a proud grandfather to Emily, Adam, Megan, Madison, and Jared.

Born and raised in Warkworth, Gordon began his working life at the age of 18 with the Port Hope Concrete Wall Company (Marshman Bros.), where he dedicated 53 years of loyal service. Through his long career, he formed many lasting friendships and was well respected by coworkers and associates alike.

Gordon will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

In keeping with Gordon’s wishes, there will be no service and no celebration of life.
