Gerrit Everhardus

Passed away on March 11, 2024, surrounded by his family. Gerrit (Gary) Everhardus in his 93rd year of Bloomfield, Ontario.

Born January 5, 1932, in Drenthe Holland.  Gary was the third youngest of 11 siblings born to Sylvia and Christian Everhardus. 

Cherished father of Christina Everhardus of Picton and Janet (Mark) of Bloomfield. Loving Grandfather to Eric (Courtney) Ryan, (Rochelle) and Madison (Brayden).  Loving Great grandfather of Blake, Raya, and baby Girl Williams.

Gary immigrated to PEC in 1952 at the age of 20.

Gary was a well-known carpenter in the County, specializing in building houses, cabinetry, and staircases but his most cherished moments were spending time with his family and grandchildren/great grandchildren and in his later years being chauffeured by his son in law Mark to all his favorite county places.

Cremation has been entrusted to Milestones. Memorial donations made to Hospice PEC, or the Prince Edward Memorial Hospital would be appreciated by the family.  Online condolences, photos and memories can be shared at www.milestonecremation.ca
