Gerald Muma

Gerald William Muma, in his 75th year, passed away peacefully of Glioblastoma. Loving husband of Beverley Kemp Muma. Proud father of Scott, Shane, Kerry and grandfather to Ella and Angus. Remembered too by Bev’s daughters, Kelly, Christy, Joanna and his bonus grandchildren Lynn, Teddy, and Matilda. Gerry was passionate about aviation from an early age. Starting out in small bush planes fitted with floats or skis in Canada’s north. Progressing through the years and flying over 67 different aircraft types including classics such as the DC3, DC10, 767, and the 747 on which he was a Check Captain. He amassed 22,000 hours of flying and said his favourite aircraft was the Learjet. Gerry’s career took him around the world and he especially loved his years in Australia. Gerry was also passionate about baseball;  the Blue Jays have lost an avid fan. Arrangements have been entrusted to Milestone Cremation Services, Napanee.
