Geerdina Dekker

Passed away peacefully at home in Batawa surrounded by family and friends on Monday, August 26, 2024 at the age of 90. Devoted wife of the late Teunis Dekker of 66 glorious years. Cherished mother of Sara “Sandy” Beall (late Gordon) of Ottawa, John Dekker (Debbie) of Calgary and Tony Dekker (Bonnie) of Trenton. She will be forever missed by her grandchildren Marissa (Chris), Alexander, Curtis, Travis and Owen as well as her great-grandchildren Jaden, Nash, Brooks and Addy. Beloved sister of Jopie Stutz (Emile) of Holland and Jan Geukes of Holland. Geerdina will be lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews as well as her several close friends. Predeceased by her parents Geert and Sara Geukes (Remijnse), brother Eli Geukes (Lidy) and grandson Dustin. Cremation has been entrusted to Milestone Cremation Services and there will be no visitation or Funeral. Memorial donations made to the University Hospitals Kingston Foundation (UHKF) – Lung Cancer Research or the Parkinson’s Canada Quinte Chapter would be appreciated by the family.
