Garnet Floyd Thompson

In his 81st year, Garnet Floyd Thompson of Deseronto passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loved ones on Friday, August 2, 2024. Garnet was a devoted father of Gary (Heather) and Bob (Della) and now together forever with his loving wife, Donna. He was dearly loved and a special papa to his grandchildren Bryan (Jacquelyn), Stephanie, Rachel (Kirby), Krystal (Trevor), Katelyn (Pat) and Justin (Alex) and great papa to Sophia and newborn twins Danni and Hayden. Garnet will be greatly missed by his brother John (Nancy) and sisters Elaine (Calvin) Loney and Susie. Garnet will also be fondly remembered by his sister-inlaw’s Margaret (Don) Herrington, Shirley (late George) VanAlstyne, Sharon (late Gary) Whitton, Louise (Dale) Claus, Cathy Lee (Pete) and Fran (Doug) Loney. Garnet is predeceased by his parents, Clarence and Noreen and sister-in-law Betty (late Alfie Green). As per Garnet’s wishes there will be no funeral service or memorial. Cremation has taken place.
