Evelyn Edwards

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Evelyn Edwards who passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family after a courageous but brief battle with cancer on Wednesday, March 12, 2025.

Devoted wife of the late Darrell Dunk. Loving mother of Janette Cooney (Donald), Clinton Lockhart, Aaron Edwards and Karen Lewis (Chris). Precious grandmother of Michael (Lindsay), Coleton (Kelly), Kiersten, Nolan and Brady. Lovingly remembered by her great grandchildren  Chance, Cameron, Corbin, Lyla and Cailyn. Dear sister of Ann Gallacher, Jim Paxton. (Ellen). Deeply missed by her nieces and nephews. 

Evelyn loved life and spending time with her family. She will be missed by so many. Visitation will be held at the Chapel of the Good Shepherd (513 Ashley Street, Foxboro) on Saturday, April 12, 2025 from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm. Service will begin at 12:00 pm. Interment in Elmwood Cemetery (412 River Road, Corbyville) to follow the service. Memorial donations made in Evelyn’s memory to your local Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
