It is with love and remembrance that we announce the passing of Betty, beloved wife of the late Lorne. She was predeceased by her siblings Jack (Patricia Henderson), Mary (Floyd Peters), and Barbara (Donald Cox).
Betty was a devoted and loving mother to Robert (Cindy McLinton) of Sherwood Park, Alberta; William (Heather McLinton) of Sherwood Park, Alberta; and Bonny (Richard Swayze) of Odessa, Ontario.
She was a proud and cherished grandmother to Jennifer of Belleville, Ontario; Mackenzie (Anna) of Calgary, Alberta; Brad of Whitby, Ontario; Brittany (Dalton) of Ajax, Ontario; Joshua (Chantelle) of Leduc, Alberta; Jason (Courtney) of Czar, Alberta; Colton (Megan) of Coronation, Alberta; Nicholas (Mimi) of Port Colborne, Ontario; and Shawna (Troy) of Adolphustown, Ontario.
Betty was also blessed with many great-grandchildren: Morgan (Ethan), Hannah (Ryan), Justin (Leila), Peyton, Brynleigh, Holden, Kaleigh, Daxten, Wylee, Emmry, Denton, Kaybree, Boston, Silas, Yuna, and Noah. She was predeceased by her great-granddaughter Mya-Lynn.
She was a proud great-great-grandmother to Ellis and Eadie.
Known affectionately as “Aunt Betty” to many, she held a special place in the hearts of her numerous nieces and nephews and extended family.
Betty was a successful Aloette Cosmetics franchise owner and a dedicated member of Alcoholics Anonymous for 49 years—an achievement she was deeply proud of.
Above all, Betty loved her family dearly and will be remembered for her strength, warmth, and unwavering devotion to those she loved.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
