Doug passed away peacefully at Trenton Memorial Hospital on September 13, 2019 with his loving wife, Marilyn and family by his side. He is finally at peace after fighting a hard battle with cancer. Special thanks and appreciation to the care received by Dr. Janice McPhail.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Marilyn Bolyea. He will be missed by his children Amanda [Joe], Bruce [Angel], Holly [Brian], Christopher and step-children Richard [Sharon], Cindy [James], Daryle and Sandra.
Doug was born at Belleville General Hospital on November 13 1951. He is the son of Cecelia [Shanque] and Joseph Bolyea [deceased]. Dear brother of Linda [James], Sheila [Leonard] and 2 predeceased brothers Bruce and Phillip. He will be missed by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will be fondly remembered by many other family and friends.
Doug was a skilled carpenter who learned the trade from his father. He worked in the field for 53 years. He will be fondly remembered with a hammer in hand, drinking a Pepsi with sawdust in his beard. In his down time, he and his wife enjoyed dancing and darts.
There will be a Celebration of Life held at the Elks Lodge in Trenton on September 29, 2019 from 1-4pm.
